Assessed Fees include No Show Fees, Late Cancellation Fees, Late Payment Fees and Reactivation Fees.  Please note when an account has assessed fees unpaid, the account freezes and nothing will occur on the account until fees are paid.  If there are lessons, sessions or a test that were scheduled on the account for a future date which has not come up yet, those lessons, sessions or tests will not take place if fees are not paid by 48 hours of the future service date.  If still unpaid by the 48 hour mark, the school will remove the student from the service scheduled to avoid additional fees potentially incurring on the account.  Keep in in mind deactivation can occur on a frozen account if no action on the account in accordance with our no activity on account term described under reactivation fee below.

No Show Fee

Not physically having in your possession at the lesson a valid California Learner's Permit, not coming out to meet the instructor within 15 minutes from the instructor arriving and calling you, being impaired for any reason(lack of sleep, intoxication, medication, etc.), wearing footwear which may impair the ability to safely operate the vehicle, not having your prescription contacts or glasses as required as noted on your permit or having a fever which means the virus you have is contagious, the lesson will be cancelled and considered a No Show, therefore a no show fee will be assessed to the account in the amount of $100.  Account will immediately go into a freeze status until fee paid.

Late Cancellation Fee

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled drive lesson by the student/parent/guardian.  Cancellations can be made over the phone by talking to office staff or by leaving a voicemail message, by text message to our main number, 408 370-8679 and/or by sending an email to us using email address  Failure to cancel in the required time will result in the account being assessed a late cancellation fee in the amount of $100. 

Account will immediately go into a freeze status until fee paid.

Late Payment Fee

If Zelle payment made to us after 7p the day office staff confirms a lessonus confirming a lesson, a $25 late payment fee will be assessed and will need to be paid via zelle.  Failure to pay assessed fees and package payment fees  will result in no lesson and permanent account closure. 

Reactivation Fee

If an account has no activity (scheduled driving lessons or online activity on driver ed accounts) for a period of 6 months or more, a $50 reactivation fee will be assessed to the account and will need to be paid prior to the School reactivating.  If the account was to receive a certificate, the certificate will not be issued until fee paid.  If an account has been deactivated for 8 months or longer, an account will be permanently closed with no option to reactivate.  Unused lessons will be forfeited.
